Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position in Chesapeake, VA for the 20252026 school year.

Typical Job Duties:

Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals

Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families

Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
-
Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
Required Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Virginia SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs will be considered

Understanding of IDEA and school-based service delivery

Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Previous school-based experience is preferred
