Typical Job Duties:

Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs

Evaluate students needs and develop individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff to support students academic and functional performance

Maintain proper documentation of therapy sessions and student progress

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and service planning
Required Qualifications:

Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

Active Virginia state license for Occupational Therapy

Valid NBCOT certification

Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Understanding of IDEA and IEP development process
