Applicants must meet all local and state certification requirements, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program

Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential or California state SLP license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates may be considered
-
Successful completion of all district and state background checks and TB testing
-
Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments to determine eligibility and service needs
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
-
Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
-
Maintain accurate records and progress documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
-
Provide support and strategies to classroom teachers for integrating communication goals

Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed on best practices
