State-Specific Requirements Texas:
To be eligible in Texas, candidates must meet the following:

Master's degree in Communication Disorders or equivalent

Active Texas SLP License from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

TEA certification may be needed for public school settings

CCCs preferred, though CFY applicants are welcome
Job Duties:

Provide speech and language therapy to a K12 caseload

Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports

Support and implement IEP goals

Collaborate with team members and families

Maintain service records in compliance with district guidelines
