Applicants must meet the following state and local requirements to be considered:

Valid Colorado SLP license issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)

Special Services Provider (SSP) License with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement through the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, though Clinical Fellows may be considered
-
Prior school-based experience is highly preferred
-
Must pass background and fingerprint checks required by the district
-
Authorized to work in the United States
Typical Responsibilities:

Evaluate students to determine speech and language needs using standardized assessment tools
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
-
Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
-
Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and services provided
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations
