Part-Time Contract School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Rodeo, CA

Location: Rodeo, CA Discipline: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Dates: August 18, 2025 June 5, 2026 Hours: Part-Time, 20 hours per week Onsite Only
Caseload/Details:
You will be working at one location with a mixed caseload of up to 50 students. We are looking for an SLPA who has prior school experience and can confidently support students with diverse communication needs. You will have the benefit of an onsite SLP supervisor providing guidance and collaboration.
Job Duties May Include:
- Implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) developed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Assisting with screenings and assessments, preparing materials, and maintaining accurate student records.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and the supervising SLP to support student progress and integrate communication goals into the classroom setting.
- Documenting student performance and progress, and assisting with data collection.
Special Requirements:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license is required.
- Must have previous experience working in a school setting.
Compensation:
For this contract position, the average hourly rate is $35-$45 based on experience.
