Required Qualifications:
To be considered, applicants must meet all local and state certification requirements, including:

Active North Carolina SLP license issued by the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists

Licensure or certification from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) as a school-based SLP
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows may also be considered
-
Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

Proficiency with remote therapy platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, therapy-specific software)

Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology to deliver virtual services
Key Responsibilities:

Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of needs

Conduct assessments and evaluations remotely in alignment with IEP goals
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking

Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to promote student success

Attend virtual IEP meetings and contribute to team planning
