Minimum Requirements:
To be considered, applicants must meet all state and local certification requirements:

Valid Washington Occupational Therapy License issued by the Washington State Department of Health

Certification from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) as an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) in Occupational Therapy
-
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Masters degree or higher preferred)
-
Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
-
Ability to pass background checks and fingerprint clearance as required by the district
-
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
-
Authorized to work in the United States
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' functional needs
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
-
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
-
Support the development of fine motor, sensory integration, self-care, and adaptive skills
-
Collaborate with educators, parents, and IEP teams to support student achievement
-
Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
-
Participate in IEP meetings and school-based intervention planning
