Key responsibilities include:

Conducting psychological assessments and eligibility evaluations

Participating in IEP meetings and developing student support plans

Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
Virginia state requirements:

Masters degree or higher in School Psychology

Valid Virginia Department of Education license or certification as a School Psychologist

Successful completion of criminal background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening per Virginia DOE requirements

Experience in school settings preferred but not required
