In the classroom, access is everything. As a school-based Occupational Therapist, your work helps students overcome functional challenges so they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. A San Francisco-area school district is now hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for the 20252026 school year, with services beginning in August 2025.
This is an onsite-only position supporting a dynamic K12 student population across school campuses. With a 35-hour work week and collaborative teams in place, this is an ideal opportunity to deliver meaningful, student-centered care while developing deeper experience in educational therapy.
What You'll Do

Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals

Conduct evaluations, write reports, and recommend accommodations based on student needs

Support students in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory regulation, visual motor integration, and classroom access

Collaborate with general education teachers, special education teams, and families

Contribute to IEP meetings and ensure documentation aligns with state and district standards
Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active California OT License (State Licensure required)

No educator credential required for this role

Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred

Familiarity with school-based documentation systems is helpful

Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills
