Key Responsibilities:

Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine student needs

Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans

Providing direct and consultative services to students

Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families

Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress

Supporting functional skill development to promote student independence in school settings
Qualifications:

Masters Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
-
Active Alabama Occupational Therapy License issued by the Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy

Must meet requirements for working in an educational setting through the Alabama State Department of Education (may include background checks, fingerprinting, and TB testing)

Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
