Requirements:

Applicants must meet all Illinois state and district-specific qualifications for School Psychologists, including:

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
Completion of a state-approved graduate program in School Psychology
Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
Compliance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) guidelines
Successful background check and fingerprint clearance
Familiarity with IEP processes and multi-tiered systems of support (RTI/MTSS)
Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to support eligibility determinations
Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultation to educational teams
Deliver short-term, solution-focused counseling services to students
Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
Assist in crisis intervention and behavioral planning when needed
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in accordance with school district policies
