As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess and treat speech and language disorders, develop individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with educators and families to help students overcome communication challenges and achieve their goals. Your work will empower students to build confidence and reach their potential in the classroom and beyond.
State requirements: Georgia requires an active Speech-Language Pathology license from the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Certification from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission may also be needed when working in public schools.
