What Youll Be Doing
As a school-based SLP, youll assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders that impact learning and development. Youll play a vital role in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), conducting evaluations, delivering therapy, and partnering with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Collaborate with school staff, parents, and administrators to support IEP implementation

Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance

Serve as a communication advocate and resource within the school setting
Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Valid Georgia SLP license (or eligibility)

Georgia Educator Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

ASHA CCCs preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered based on supervision availability

Previous school-based experience is a plus but not required
