Requirements:

Must meet all local and state licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathologists in Michigan

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA preferred
-
Active Michigan SLP license
-
Experience providing virtual or teletherapy services preferred

Prior experience with special education students and families highly preferred
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Deliver direct virtual speech and language therapy sessions to K1 students
-
Conduct online evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring using approved digital tools
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans tailored to each students goals
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, data tracking, and progress reports for compliance
-
Collaborate with general education and special education teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student success
-
Provide consultation and strategies to staff and caregivers to promote communication development
-
Participate in virtual IEP meetings, team collaboration sessions, and professional development activities
