School Psychologist Job Duties

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans

Provide counseling and consultation services to students, teachers, and parents

Collaborate with educators and administrators to promote positive learning environments

Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional recommendations
Federal and State Requirements

Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Current Indiana School Psychologist certification required

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and FERPA regulations

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Indiana school districts
