Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in the Baltimore, MD area schools. The OT will provide specialized therapy services to help students develop, improve, and maintain the skills necessary for daily academic and functional success in the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate students to identify needs related to fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students IEP goals.

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student participation and performance.

Provide consultation and training to school personnel to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines.

Document progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with state and district reporting requirements.

Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.
Requirements:

Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Active Maryland Occupational Therapy license.

Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
