In this on-site role (37.5 hours per week), youll deliver vital speech and language services, supporting students development while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative educational setting.

Role: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Chesapeake, VA area

Schedule: Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | On-site

Dates: Immediate start December 18, 2025 (short-term contract covering maternity leave)

Caseload: Elementary school students
Responsibilities
-
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for assigned students

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)

Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications & Requirements

Active Virginia SLP License (Required)

Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Strong clinical and interpersonal skills

Experience working with elementary school populations preferred
