Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
There is a full-time contract opportunity for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Cartersville, GA. Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for this school-based position serving an elementary school caseload.
To be considered, candidates must meet all state and local licensure and certification requirements. Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each students IEP goals.

Provide direct therapy services in individual and small-group settings.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.

Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with IDEA requirements.

Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and professional development sessions.

Utilize a variety of instructional and assistive technologies to support student success.
Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Current Georgia SLP license and Department of Education certification.
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.

Prior school-based experience strongly preferred.
