Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
There is a full-time contract opportunity for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Minden, LA. Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified professionals for this school-based position serving students in grades PK12.
To be considered, applicants must meet all requirements set in place by local and state regulations. Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, voice, and hearing impairments.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students IEP goals.

Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support student communication and academic success.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, reports, and compliance paperwork.

Participate in IEP meetings, student support conferences, and professional development sessions.

Educate staff and families on communication strategies and assistive technologies to promote generalization of skills.
Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Active Louisiana SLP license and Louisiana Department of Education certification.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.

Prior school-based experience strongly preferred.
