Blazer Jobs is partnering with a supportive and student-focused school district in Minden, Louisiana, to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 20252026 school year. About the Role
The SLPA will assist in implementing individualized therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). You will provide direct services to students, support progress toward IEP goals, and collaborate with staff and families to foster meaningful communication development in the school setting.
Key Responsibilities

Provide speech and language therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP.

Support the implementation of students IEP goals and therapy programs.

Collect data and maintain accurate session documentation.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote inclusive communication environments.

Participate in professional development, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
Qualifications

Active or pending Louisiana SLPA license.

Associate or Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences or Speech-Language Pathology.

Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $32$37 per hour, commensurate with experience.
