Blazer Jobs is partnering with a supportive and student-centered school district in Minden, Louisiana, to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 20252026 school year. About the Role
The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based setting. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective therapy plans that support student success in both academic and social settings.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals.

Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students.

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate communication goals within the classroom environment.

Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with district and state requirements.

Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications

Active or pending Louisiana SLP license.

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs may be considered.

Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $37$41 per hour, commensurate with experience.
