Position Overview
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking School Social Workers (SSWs) across Michigan for upcoming opportunities in the 20252026 school year. Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs

Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student IEPs

Conduct assessments and provide intervention plans to support student progress

Offer crisis intervention and connect families with community-based resources

Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state and district standards
Qualifications

Masters degree in Social Work (MSW required)

Full Approval or School Social Worker Certificate through the Michigan Department of Education (MDE)

Active MI State Social Worker license through LARA

Prior experience working in schools strongly preferred
