About the Role
The Occupational Therapist will provide specialized services to students across grade levels, helping them develop fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills that enhance classroom participation. Youll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support individualized goals and promote an inclusive, student-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and design individualized therapy programs

Deliver direct and consultative therapy services aligned with IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student progress

Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with district and state standards

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
Qualifications

Active Maryland Occupational Therapy License (required)

Prior school-based or pediatric therapy experience preferred

Knowledge of IDEA and IEP processes

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
