Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Requirements:

Must meet all local and state licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathologists in Illinois

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
-
Active Illinois PEL with SLP endorsement required

Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to identify student needs
-
Develop and implement individualized IEP goals and therapy plans
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and group settings
-
Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with state and district guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and parent conferences
-
Support staff with strategies and tools to encourage communication across classroom environments
-
Utilize evidence-based techniques and assistive communication technology when appropriate
