Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active Illinois SLP license and PEL endorsement

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs may be considered

Must meet all state and local requirements for school-based employment

Experience working with special education students and families highly preferred
Typical Job Duties:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students speech and language needs

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
-
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students individually or in small groups

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote communication development and academic success
-
Participate in IEP meetings and document progress toward established goals
-
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and district regulations
