Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Social Workers to join a district in Plainfield, IL for the 20252026 school year. This full-time role offers the chance to support students academic achievement and emotional well-being through proactive intervention and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention to students in need
- Support teachers and staff in developing positive behavioral strategies
- Collaborate with families and community resources to ensure consistent student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student service plans
- Maintain accurate case documentation and compliance with district policy
Qualifications / Requirements: - Masters Degree in Social Work required
- Active Illinois PEL with School Social Worker Endorsement
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with K12 students preferred
