Travel Occupational Therapist Beaufort, SC
Pay Range: $39$43+ per hour (based on experience)
BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a supportive school district in Beaufort, South Carolina for the 20252026 school year. This full-time, school-based position will serve students across three campuses (elementary through high school). Both local and travel candidates are encouraged to apply.
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by helping them develop essential skills for success in and out of the classroom. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to provide individualized support and ensure each student can access their full potential. The schedule is 37.5 hours per week, with the contract running from December through June.
Qualifications and Requirements

Active South Carolina Occupational Therapy License

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Compliance with all state and federal regulations for school-based therapy services

Ability to pass background and fingerprint clearance as required by the school district
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate students to determine eligibility and need for occupational therapy services

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Provide direct and consultative therapy to students across elementary, middle, and high school campuses

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning sessions
