Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with communication and speech-language disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students IEPs

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports

Provide direct and consultative services in accordance with district and state standards

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
Federal and State Requirements

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Washington State SLP License required

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Prior school-based experience strongly preferred

Must meet state and district background clearance requirements
