Speech Language Pathologist Job Duties

Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students

Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication goals

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings and provide staff consultation as needed
Federal and State Requirements

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Texas SLP License and ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
