Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a dedicated School Psychologist to support student development and wellbeing in a school environment located in Little Rock, AR. The role involves travel to various school sites, providing comprehensive psychological services that promote academic success and emotional health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans to support student mental health and learning
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create supportive educational environments
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing interventions in school settings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel between school locations as required
- Familiarity with special education laws, regulations, and best practices
