Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings across K-12 grade levels
- Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders common in school-age children
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans
Location: North Adams, MA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders to K-12 students
- Create and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to student needs
- Monitor student progress and update educational teams with detailed reports
- Participate in team meetings, including IEP development and implementation
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to promote carryover and academic success
