Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available in North Adams, MA, supporting a K-12 school environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to work onsite, directly engaging with students and staff to support educational and psychological needs throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for students across K-12 grade levels.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans.
- Provide counseling and intervention to students facing emotional, social, or academic challenges.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and educational laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
