A contracted occupational therapist opportunity is available to support a K-12 school district located in Yreka, CA, for the current school year. This role involves working directly with school-aged children to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that enhance their educational experience and functional performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations to assess students occupational therapy needs
- Developing and implementing evidence-based intervention strategies designed to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational and healthcare regulations
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing professional insight to support student success
Desired qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license and credentials valid in California
