This contract opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an elementary school setting located in Jacksonville, AR. The position runs through the current school year, ending on May 21, 2026, with a standard 35-hour workweek. The caseload includes serving 36-40 preschool students across 3-4 campuses, making it ideal for an experienced SLP comfortable working with early childhood populations.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid and active SLP license is mandatory
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services
- Ability to manage a caseload of 36-40 students with diverse communication needs
- Must be able to work onsite without supervision; candidates in Clinical Fellowship Year or requiring supervision are not eligible
- This position does not accept Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to preschool students
- Collaborate with educators and support staff across multiple campuses
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team planning
