Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address student needs

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state standards

Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input for student success
Federal and State Requirements

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Texas SLP license required

ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
