School Psychologist Job Duties

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

Provide counseling and consultation services to students, staff, and families

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with district and state regulations
Federal and State Requirements

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited university

Active Virginia School Psychologist License required

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
