Overview:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in VA Beach City Public Schools for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year. This is a full-time, school-based position serving K-12 students. Candidates should be passionate about student success and skilled in conducting assessments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing intervention strategies.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students K-12

Participate in IEP meetings and help develop educational and behavioral goals

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student progress

Provide individual and group counseling as needed

Contribute to the implementation of school-wide behavioral and academic interventions

Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and district policies
Requirements:

Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology

Active Virginia School Psychologist certification

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
