A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Lake Placid, FL. This role is designed for the current school year (CSY) and offers the chance to provide critical therapy services within an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Implement therapeutic interventions that promote fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed to meet educational goals.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to advocate for student needs.
