Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers the opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a K-12 educational setting in Avon Park, FL. The assignment is a contract role for the current school year, focusing on supporting students with speech and language needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in a school environment
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals as needed
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders to support student success
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting (K-12)
- Skilled in evaluating and treating a variety of speech and language impairments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid state licensure to practice as a speech-language pathologist
