A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Wauchula, FL. This contract position for the current school year offers the opportunity to deliver essential speech and language services to a diverse student population, helping them improve communication skills for academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through grade 12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy sessions.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to develop goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure or certification to practice as an SLP in the school setting.
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational environments.
