Occupational Therapist Job Duties

Assess and evaluate students fine motor, sensory, and functional skills within the educational setting

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans

Provide direct and consultative therapy services to help students access the curriculum and school activities

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development

Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district and state guidelines
Federal and State Requirements

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university

Active Florida Occupational Therapy License required

Previous school-based experience preferred

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
