Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a school district in Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time contract role serves a mixed caseload of elementary, middle, and high school students. The psychologist will provide assessments, counseling, and meeting coverage to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations

Provide individual and group counseling to support student well-being

Participate in eligibility, IEP, and student support meetings

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective interventions

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
Requirements:

Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology

Active Virginia School Psychologist License

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
