Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity in a K-12 school setting located in Milford, DE is available for the current school year contract lasting through June 12, 2026. The position requires an active Delaware licensure or certification as an SLP, with no consideration given to SLP Assistants at this time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech therapy services to students.
- Complete speech and language evaluations.
- Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Attend team meetings, including IEP meetings.
- Collect and document progress monitoring data to assess student growth.
- Maintain timely and accurate therapy notes using Data Service Center and Power School IEP software.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active Delaware SLP licensure/certification.
- Experience working with a school-age population, preferably K-12.
- Proficient use of education-related software systems such as Power School IEP.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
Work Schedule and Details:
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday through Friday.
- School year contract ending on June 12, 2026.
- Caseload and grade levels to be determined.
- On-site work is preferred; hybrid arrangements may be considered.
