A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support a K-12 caseload in Somersworth, NH. This contract position offers the chance to work approximately 1-2 days per week, primarily to address ongoing speech service needs. The duration is flexible and may range from three months to the remainder of the school year, providing valuable support as the current SLP organizes and completes needed services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across grades K-12.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations.
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings as needed.
- Address a range of speech and language disorders within the school setting.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a school-based SLP.
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a flexible, part-time schedule.
