Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time physical therapist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Folkston, GA. This contract role requires on-site presence one day per week, offering specialized support within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to students with documented needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) or within an educational setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and regulations
- Flexibility to work onsite one day per week during the contract period
