Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist position supports students across a K-12 caseload in a public school setting located in the Daphne, AL area. The contract runs from the start date ASAP through May 22, 2026, providing continuity in student services for the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with district and state regulations
- Participate in meetings, including school and IEP meetings, to advocate for student needs
Qualifications:
- Valid professional license or educator certification in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Experience working with school-age children in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students with communication challenges
Location and Work Environment:
- Work takes place on-site at a K-8 public school within the Mobile County Public Schools system, serving students across K-12
- Full-time schedule of 35 hours per week
