Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting within the Baltimore area. This role involves working on-site with students ranging from preschool through eighth grade in various school locations, supporting speech and language development within a contract period from December 2025 through mid-2026, with possible extensions into Extended School Year (ESY) services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments, therapy, and interventions to preschool, elementary, and middle school students.
- Support and supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to ensure the highest quality of care and service delivery.
- Deliver services across multiple school sites, including community preschool programs, elementary, and middle schools, adjusting schedules to meet specific caseload needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to promote effective communication strategies and student success.
- Manage itinerant caseloads efficiently, covering multiple locations as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working within public school settings or similar educational environments.
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with SLPAs.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to manage itinerant assignments.
- Commitment to on-site work with no remote or hybrid options.
Work Schedule & Location:
- Positions available with various schedules ranging from part-time (30 hours/week) to full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday through Thursday or Monday through Friday.
- Assignments based at community preschools, Magnolia and Prospect Mill Elementary Schools, and Aberdeen Middle School in the Baltimore area.
- Contract roles spanning December 1, 2025, through mid-June 2026, with potential to extend into July ESY periods.
