Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in an elementary school setting during the full spring semester. The role focuses primarily on PreK students, with occasional support for grades 1-3, delivering therapy and support to enhance students' communication skills.
Location: Providence, RI
Duration: January 5, 2026 June 15, 2026
Position Type: Contract, Part-Time
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM 3:30 PM (Fridays off)
Setting: Onsite in an elementary school
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and deliver therapy to PreK and early elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district protocols
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP)
- Active state license and educator credential in Rhode Island
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
