Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming spring semester at an elementary school in Cranston, RI. This contract role spans from January 5, 2026, through June 15, 2026, serving predominantly Pre-K students with some support for grades 1-3 as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to Pre-K through third-grade students.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and document all therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
Qualifications:
- Certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Active state license and educator credential in good standing.
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with elementary-aged children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with Fridays off.
- Onsite position at a Northern Lincoln Elementary School.
- Part-time hours tailored around caseload requirements.
